3s Class
Program Focus
The program focus is on encouraging positive self-esteem, learning to feel comfortable at nursery school, playing cooperatively, learning self-help skills, working through separation, and gaining the trust and self-confidence necessary to make independent choices.
Cost:
$350 per month for 2026 - 2027 school year, plus a one-time enrollment fee of $300.
*Your child must be 3 years old on September 1st of the enrollment year. Age exceptions can be made at the discretion of the program director.
Where little ones learn to trust themselves
Our 3s program is all about helping children feel at home in the world outside their home. Through play, friendship, and gentle encouragement, children build the self-confidence and independence they need to make choices, try new things, and start to see themselves as capable, competent kids.
Parent Participation
For parents of our 3s students, participation in the classroom is required 2 to 3 times per month. Participating parents must fulfill basic health requirements and stay current with parent education information given by the Directors.
One parent per student is expected to perform housekeeping duties two times during the year on a scheduled basis. In addition, a parent from each family is required to participate in one group housekeeping day and one maintenance day per year.
Lafayette Nursery School values diversity. All interested families, from all backgrounds, are encouraged to enroll in our school.
